ASSISTANT TO THE MANAGER/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, PA seeks a skilled self-starting and dependable individual to serve as either an Assistant to the Manager or an Administrative Assistant in the Administration Department.  For the Assistant to the Manager position, the Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Communication, Marketing, or a related field/transferrable experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; two (2) to five (5) years of experience in local government, preferred; experience with preparing written statements and using different media sources to effectively inform a community; and experience planning events .  For the Administrative Assistant position, the Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, college degree in related field preferred; two (2) to five (5) years of administrative experience in local government, preferred; and some experience planning events. FT, 36 hrs/wk (M-R standard schedule*).  Healthcare/Vision/Dental Coverage/PTO/Holidays/Other Benefits included. Must pass drug/alcohol/physical exam.  EOE.   Salary Range for Assistant to the Manager: $50,000-$65,000.  Salary Range for Administrative Assistant: $40,000-$50,000.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (BUILDING AND CODES DEPARTMENT) -
New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, PA seeks a skilled self-starting and dependable individual to serve as an Administrative Assistant in our Building and Codes Department.   This successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks required to help support the Department.   Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED; Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred; two (2) years to five (5) years of administrative experience preferred; and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.  FT, 36 hrs/wk (M-R standard schedule*).  Healthcare/Vision/Dental Coverage/PTO/Holidays/Other Benefits included.   Must pass drug/alcohol/physical exam.  EOE.   Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000.
