A mine, said to contain gold, was opened in this township. Specimens of the ore were displayed in Pottstown in 1831.

There are three numbers to call depending on if the animal needs to be removed from either a local, county or state road: 

For local roads, call the Pennsylvania Game Commission at 610-926-3136. 

For county roads, call the Montgomery County Roads and Bridges Department at 610-278-3613

  • Kulp Road between Hill Road and Deep Creek Road
  • Deep Creek Road from Kulp Road to Fisher Road
  • Henning Road from Deep Creek Road to Finn Road
